Tonna Gruber
A Sarasota resident since 1994 and real estate professional for over three decades, Tonna's moto is "Choose in ways that support your dreams". Tonna Gruber prides herself on being able to thoughtfully assist her customers design the lifestyle of their dreams. Her exuberance and love of the region shows at every stage of the home buying or selling process, and she dedicates her time to fully immerse herself in both the market statistics and wide array of cultural opportunities to better serve her customers – whether pursuing further industry education or sampling the best of recreation, dining and art throughout the community.
Active is the best way to describe Tonna in every facet of her life. After getting her real estate license in 1984, she has worked locally for national, international and boutique brokerages. Licensed in Florida in 2005, she worked the general market in Sarasota, Manatee and Charlotte counties and went on to work in-house with a national home builder in 2014-2020, giving her a front-row seat to the extensive development of the region and the coming and going of new construction trends. This along with a catalog of industry designations prove her thorough knowledge and dedication to her craft while allowing her to continue pursuing her favorite thing of all – supporting her customers' goals.
Tonna is originally from Louisiana and moved from Southern California to the soft sands of Siesta Key, where she first became enamored with the beautiful beaches and waterways of the area. A downtown urbanite since 2007, she has enjoyed watching the area's evolution into a walkable hub of recreation and culture and loves to challenge her physical fitness with training, cycling and racket sports. She is an Honors Graduate of the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science degree in General Psychology and Literature.
Tonna stays involved in her community as the former event chair of the Florida Center for Children and Family Development. She has two boys, Jared, who lives in New York City, and Patrick, who lives in Manatee County with her granddaughter Violet.
